Inspiration for new solutions to succeed through disruption comes from the front lines...from your community back. Business has the same challenge. Both are focused on the behavior in the community. affecting parents, teachers, as much as business
OLD Education is no different. The most immediate solutions are going to come from the observations, instincts, expertise, and continued efforts of our educators and professional coaches and administrators.
THE DIAGRAM
GOOD Too often, your decorated, and highly-degreed professionals have taken a back seat to theoretical consultants prescribing solutions. Or “silver bullet” edtech firms trying to lay claim to school and district improvements.
GOOD This is a new era - moving beyond school reform to school innovation. It requires an approach that empowers those same educators, providing collaborative approaches that fully leverage their contributions and drive toward superior, collectively-designed and vetted solutions. Our StageLeap offerings are designed to fuel exactly that kind of evolutionary approach.
ENERGIZING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
With a heightened role in the evolution of education, you and your team need access to the most progressive, effective, and enriching tools and support possible. That was the impetus behind StageLeap’s earliest work in education: cross-pollinating the approaches and behavioral learning from business with education.
The result is a PD resource that opens up access to emerging (virtually-supported) research methodologies, dimensionalized insights, revealing community personas, and innovative experience mapping and design techniques. By creating a PD initiative around these more participatory, revealing, and action-oriented techniques, your educators walk away feeling enriched and empowered.
EVOLVING THE BLENDED LEARNING EXPERIENCE (BLX)
The rapid transition to blended/ remote/ distance learning took every education stakeholder by surprise. The challenges experienced (and occasional victories) varied dramatically from class-to-class, grade-to-grade, school-to-school, and district-to-district. Complex as it may be, education communities are local. Sweeping research initiatives are unable to capture the level of detail or dimension that is critical for the success of you and your team.
StageLeap’s approach starts with the embedded knowledge and perspectives of your current parents, teachers, and administrators. They are valuable, often-underleveraged assets, and any improvements to the blended learning experience will rely heavily on their contributions and commitment.
Building on that strong foundation, our fluid, multi-modal methodology (inspired by innovations in the world of business) is then able to deliver on the 3 factors that are most critical right now: speed to insight, depth of understanding, and actionability.
BRINGING ASSESSMENTS TO LIFE
Assessments will continue to be one of the tools education relies on to monitor progress and diagnose areas of concern. Too often, however, the data that emerges is flat, without any dimension. Numerical evaluations, performance segmentation, and benchmarking provide only a partial picture. You and your team need some way of humanizing the data so it is more readily actionable.
Our central focus as a company is on deeper understanding of behaviors and the mapping of the end-to-end experience to provide that missing, actionable dimension to data.
The mapping across the teacher, parent, and student experience captures the dynamics within a particular classroom, school, or district in an easy-to-understand, visually-engaging, living reference. Collaboration sessions, still leveraging assessment data, then spotlight areas in the experience journey for each stakeholder that require additional attention. Your educators emerge with a more fully dimensionalized vision for success.
“Maybe we will start designing school and learning experiences to set our students up for the future instead of holding them back to the past. If there was ever a catalyst to jumpstart change we are living in it right now.”
OUR OFFERINGS
BLENDED LEARNING EXPERIENCE EVOLUTION - 360 INSIGHT STUDY (JUNE 2020)
The rapid shift to blended learning took every education stakeholder by surprise. The challenges experienced (and occasional victories) varied dramatically from district-to-district, school-to-school, grade-to-grade, and class-to-class. While the broader issue for education is complex, the fastest path to actionable solutions is through a focus on your immediate education community.
In late June, StageLeap will be deploying a multi-modal behavioral study of the changing education experience and its near-term impact on students, parents, and teachers. We are in the process of recruiting a maximum of ten education communities to take part in this collaborative study. Each participating school or district will have access to both the overall and localized analysis of the research, as well as the comprehensive qualitative data for their particular community. If your school or district is interested in participating in this largely subsidized effort, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

LEARNING COMMUNITY EVOLUTION - HOLISTIC INNOVATION INITIATIVE
The Every Student Succeeds Act sparked increased emphasis on parent and community engagement, school climate, school culture, and research-based instructional practices like social/emotional learning, personalized learning, and trauma-informed instruction. It was a much-needed move toward a more human educational system.
But our vision for education cannot be separated out in that way. Everything we do ultimately rolls up to a single, holistic education experience.
The Holistic Innovation Initiative maps closely to our core process. It uses an analysis of your existing research and one-on-ones with your key team leaders to establish a benchmark. We then design and field a multi-modal 360 behavioral study that brings the current education experience to life through the perspectives of your students, parents, and teachers. That bank of insights and hypotheses serve as the inspirational springboard for our collaborative workshop with your team. The outcome of those intensive, facilitated sessions is a team-vetted roadmap of experience innovations for YOUR learning community, ready for activation. Ideally, such engagements are hosted annually or bi-annually to closely track the progress and evolution of the education experience across your student, parent, teacher community.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE INNOVATION SPRINTS
For some education organizations, a significant, recent investment has already been made in trying to better understand the behavioral dynamics of their learning community. Often the findings are centered around priority concentrations, such as SEL or MTSS. The immediate need is to humanize the data and create a more tangible, action plan for your district or school. Our innovation sprints accomplish that in collaboration with your team, empowering them over the course of a facilitated work session and bringing to life the envisioned education experience and roadmapped innovations.
INSIGHT COLLABORATIVES
In our quest to make the empowerment of your team as achievable (and affordable) as possible, we also offer sister schools and districts Insight Collaboratives - our multi-modal 360 behavioral research deployed simultaneously for two, closely-mapped, education organizations. While the analysis and deliverables remain customized to each specific school or district, the quantitative and qualitative waves of the study are done in coordination to capture maximum efficiency, and reduce cost. If this is an interest, our team will work with you to identify or validate collaborative opportunities.

As research continues to reinforce learning is the result of a collective series of experiences that span a child’s home life, their community the school and all facets of social emotional learning. Effective education is a coordinated affect. Yet, each of our departments and teams pull data and create initiatives without having a clear understanding of the net collective impact on the classroom.
Through Holistic Education Experience Design with StageLeap we’re able to capture the context and dimension of your unique school’s experience and provide you with a workshop to help you unify a collective strategy leading to school success.
insights take you beyond the numbers and humanize your data to inform your people and design initiatives that build bridges to, and make positive impacts in your community.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS
As the market slowly recovers, companies will be hesitant to invest too quickly in adding full-time staff. Working with StageLeap to field a project executive or bespoke team of resources can serve as a critical bridge-builder until full-time investments are more easily justified. In the interim, we will provide seasoned leadership with specific projects or needs, expertly guide your cross-functional teams, or even provide supplemental training so those same teams are able to grow their value to your business.

A WORD ABOUT VIRTUAL COLLABORATION AND RESEARCH
Long before the pandemic radically disrupted our interactions and ways of working, our digitally-savvy team members were already executing highly complex engagements with clients, partners, and customers who were scattered across offices, traveling, or working remotely. While there are challenges with virtual collaboration, our team has found a number of user-friendly solutions that are highly effective.
While we have leading-edge collaboration tools that we typically utilize, we are readily adaptable and eager to fully align with our clients’ preferred ways of working.
